Client Goals

When Amicus met IPCA, the leading strategic buying and supply chain management company had outgrown their current premises and were searching for a larger office to accommodate their staff. 

The Amicus solution to IPCA’s problem was not one they originally had in mind.  Rather than leasing a larger office and incurring increased real-estate costs, Amicus suggested that IPCA undergo a workplace strategy process to investigate the way in which their teams operate within the work environment. 

The study conducted by Amicus over a period of three and a half months, found that an activity based working design would be most beneficial for IPCA, allowing for more effective use of space and optimal work output, whilst providing a variety of work settings to suit the behaviours of the team.  It was also found that this design would work within a similar sized office of 650sqm, which resulted in a cost saving on their new lease.

The new IPCA office fitout provides different spaces for focus and collaboration, meeting and boardroom facilities as well as a large breakout to encourage social and informal interaction.
