Client Goals

Omron moved from a space of 21 years, so the objective was to design the new workspace with a modern day look and feel that would last for the next 2 decades. The project was a made good floor in a new building in a new location.

Amicus took on the project knowing the construction period was tight given the extensive 2 floor project brief. The brief included specific challenges including, 5 new bathrooms, furniture lead times, specialty lighting, custom made joinery, external building signage and operable walls. Amicus turned Omron’s design brief into a full detailed design in just 4 weeks, ensuring the design stayed within the clients financial budget. Amicus used our base of preferred contractors and the onsite project coordination of Nick Halakatevakis to drive the project for a defect free handover.

Our sister company, Furniture For Business procured all the workstation and loose furniture package within tight timframes. Omron needed quality furniture from Europe to last, and given the lead-times we were working with (10-12 weeks) it needed to be designed and procured early.

Omron were ecstatic with the end result that Amicus pulled the project together for them on time and within budget.
