Marrying historical sensitivity with contemporary design, Enero’s 3,500 sqm fit-out has delivered a dynamic space of raw and elegant sophistication. The timber skeleton of a heritage-listed Pyrmont woolshed combined with premium modern finishes sustains this duality, where old meets new.
Co-locating Enero’s boutique network of marketing and communications businesses under one roof has transformed the space into a thriving powerhouse of collaboration and creativity. Key to the project was balancing the needs of each individual business. The result is an office broken into bite-sized neighbourhoods with bump spaces sprawled throughout to encourage connectivity.
Implementing activity-based working, engaging Amicus Consulting for change management and allowing the flexibility to work from home, Enero have wholeheartedly embraced the leading business world work trends.
Enero’s identity is evident upon arrival with its iconic neon branding sprawled across an expansive and welcoming reception area. Lighting marries with earthy, wooden textures to create a richly inviting interior.
Each neighbourhood has been designed and branded with its own unique identity, constructed with a series of supporting spaces. This includes quiet zones for focused work, booths for small group discussions, team tables for desk work, enclosed meeting rooms for private discussions and informal breakout areas.
The variety of spaces allows employees to select an area based on the type of activity they are performing. The result; optimised efficiency, enhanced functionality and significant savings on space and rent.
Floor to ceiling glass panes surround an internal, cavernous courtyard; an abundance of natural light spilling in from overhead. Across the courtyard, the continuation of glass panes offers a picturesque glimpse into Enero’s workspace; a hive of activity and the beating heart of a creative world.
This bold combination achieves a great sense of sophisticated rawness, celebrating the building’s history whilst reinforcing the creativity and individuality of Enero’s brands.
Working hand-in-hand with our design partner, The Bold Collective, this ambitious project was completed within a tight project timeframe of 12 weeks.
“The Amicus Delivery Team all worked closely with us to understand and meet our specific needs. Holding weekly meetings onsite at our new office also meant that we could watch the project unfold and watch your progress over time as the project evolved, which was great. The final result is excellent. Our new office is spacious, modern, colourful, exciting and our staff love it. We’d be happy to provide a reference for Amicus as we’d certainly be happy to use the Amicus team again in the future” – Brendan York, Group Finance Director, Enero Group Limited
