Amicus’ key goal was to design and construct Everyday Hero’s new office within a restricted time frame of 6 weeks. Situated on Level 8, 333 Ann St Brisbane, Everyday Hero wanted to make a difference to their staff, by providing them with an inspiring fitout to help them give back.
Since its foundationin 2007, Everyday Hero has been helping people all over the world, just like you, to connect with and support the causes they love. And in helping these wonderful people, Everyday Hero has learnt that giving isn’t just about money. It was Everyday Hero’s requirement to obtain a new office fit out that not only reflected their workplace culture but also their business ethos.
The design scope featured an open plan workspace across 860sqm, zoned appropriately to support the different activities and styles of work to be undertaken by staff. Amicus introduced angled glass whiteboard partitions to separate zones, which also provide a platform for visualising ideas whilst brainstorming. Workstations are without screens, therefore allowing teams to communicate effectively without barriers.
The staff breakout and recreation space is designed like a New York style loft, featuring warm industrial-look furniture, timber and brick facades and a ping pong table. The staff added a personalised touch to the space by wallpapering cosy communal chat booths. A ping pong table was selected as a fun addition to the fitout. Furniture throughout the fitout was co-ordinated and supplied by Amicus Furniture and features an eclectic mix of leather and retro-patterned krypton fabrics.
The EDH brand was injected into the fit-out by using a range of colours drawn from corporate marketing guidelines, and the use of striking graphic images further reinforce team goals.
Amicus conducted a high standard of workmanship throughout the entire length of the EDH workplace construction, meeting the design goals and provided a cost effective fitout to the delight of the EDH staff.
What the client said:
“The overall experience was great, we worked well as a team , communications were clear and every request of mine was treated promptly and cordially.”
