After an outstanding project in 2006 at Australia Square, Amicus was appointed for a second time to design and construct their new 700sqm office located at 123 Pitt St Angel Place.

Finite’s aim was to reflect their brand identity throughout the office design, particularly through the reception area. This was acheived by the space being brand inspired, inviting and relaxing using high quality finishes.

The front of house area incorporates multiple stand out features: a curved reception desk covered in white mosaic tiles, timber ceiling, wide display screen, graphic glazing film on meeting rooms and high end furniture.  The hero of the public space is a purpose made coffee bench with leather seating, the area is a real statement.

Employees also benefit from the new office design. A sun filled breakout area with stunning city views and an open floor plan with the option of Activity Based Working (ABW) includes 10 sit to stand desks. This ABW option allows employees to choose where they work based on the type of activity they are performing. A section for Lockers is installed to accompany this new work style and promotes clutter free desks. New office furniture provides a fresh and positive working environment with slide out cushioned caddies making good use of space.

Amicus managed the budget wisely by utilising sections of the existing floor layout in the reception area as casual and formal meeting rooms. Finite is very excited with the outcome of their new reception area and employees are particularly enjoying their sun filled breakout area.
