Client Goals:

Mitigating risk in an office move was of high importance to Brendan Lyon, Chief Executive of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia, who engaged Amicus specifically due to the "...strong sense of confidence that they (Amicus) could identify and manage all of the project risks".

The brand new office fit out for Australia’s leading infrastructure advisory firm was managed from start to finish by Amicus, whose approach is to offer ‘one point of contact’ for the client throughout the life of the project.

Located in the Australia Square complex on Sydney’s Pitt Street, the experience of the Amicus project team was also highlighted in the management of statuary and heritage building approval processes which were a non-negotiable for this fit out.

Together with architecture firm Peck Von Hartel, Amicus delivered a polished office which not only fulfils IPA’s functional office requirements but showcases their corporate identity. The design is minimalistic and the colour palate is neutral, broken up beautifully by splashes of blue and striking photographs of renowned infrastructure projects.

An Amicus Furniture specialist was key to the success of the project. Engaged early in the project, they accompanied the client to several furniture showroom visits and provided an unbiased consultation in the selection of furniture to specific budget and design requirements.

IPA are extremely happy with the fitout and with the Amicus project team, with Brendan noting his ”confidence was rewarded with a well-designed, well-constructed new office – with the project weeks ahead of schedule and below budget”.
